The following letter was written in 2008 on behalf of a young Soldier who attempted Suicide and provides some amazing insight into how both Soldier's and their Leader's negative attitude can adversly affect their fellow Soldier's outlook on their job in the Army and their life's worth on a day to day basis. This is important information every Soldier should understand about the importance of taking PRIDE in serving as an American Soldier, and confronts the reader with every Soldier's Sworn Duty to support one another in that commitment.
