THE PRINCE'S RESPONSE TO A DOD SURVEY
REGARDING CHANGING THE MILITARY'S
DON'T ASK-DON'T TELL POLICY

THE FOLLOWING LETTER WAS WRITTEN BY SPC JOSHU PRINCE

Date:   August 25, 2010

Subject: 2010 SURVEY sent by the Department of Defense (DoD) under the hand of Richard Y. Newton III, Lt. Gen., USAF and Karl P. Schneider, PDASA (M&RA), both Survey Team Co-Lead

In the DoD survey the question is asked, “What motivated you to join the Military Service?” The answer goes back to the oath of enlistment which is as follows:

"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God."

In short we made an Oath to support and defend the core principles on which our country was based, from her enemies both foreign and domestic.

In support of this oath we Soldiers, starting from the moment we step off the bus at Basic Training, are encouraged to live and uphold what is called the “Seven Army Values”. This altruistic set of values is “Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless-Service, Honor, Integrity and Personal Courage”. They are emphasized as being the pillar and foundation of the military institution.

Yet, my family and I have been in the Army long enough to see that we have a very different idea of what seven attributes entail than the individuals that make up the Army of today. My family and I were raised in the presence of a Holy God and we have lived our whole life before Him.

Loyalty with the Living God means just that: Loyalty, dedication and devotion to that which is right - even in the face of extreme opposition.

Duty is a sense of obligation to something bigger than yourself, to the whole of the organization or entity that you are a part of.

Respect is treating people the way people should be treated with dignity, professional courtesy, and without rancor or vindictiveness even if you feel wronged by that other individual.

Selfless Service is giving selflessly of oneself to render a service to your country, to put yourself and your needs aside to accomplish whatever is necessary for the greater good.

Honor is honesty, fairness, truthfulness, dignity and a sense of pride in accomplishing the best possible job.

Integrity is keeping your word, admitting when you make a mistake and doing what you can to right a wrong. Integrity is always doing what is correct in a situation, not what is convenient but what is morally and ethically right.

However, while my family’s definition of the seven Army Values closely follows the dictionary definition, the individuals in today’s Army (and in today’s society for that matter) have a completely different definition. To them Integrity is, for example, something that can be put on and off at one’s convenience. A person only needs to do that which is ethically right when that person cannot get away with doing that which is wrong! This diluting and degrading of the true definitions of values and principles takes on new heights when addressing the subject of homosexuality. For one thing there is a huge difference between love and lust.

Homosexuals are totally incapable of having Integrity because they openly reject the parameters that govern the very definition of Integrity. They have already given themselves over to the most base of animal instincts to go to an extreme that is wholly unnatural. It goes without saying that they have vehemently rejected any sense of morality. In order for them to carry on openly and blatantly in the sight of the public eye they have to aggressively attack the concept of morality and discredit its relevance in today’s society. This is as plain as day. As far as they are concerned there is no such thing as right and wrong. That is an antiquated concept after all, right?

On the contrary; for a civilization to try to operate without ethical codes of conduct, without morality, is antiquated.  History shows that civilization made great strides when they developed a sense of principles to live and coexist by. To eschew them is to destroy a civilization.

The Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States were created with justice, morality and fairness in mind. Those two documents created a foundation that shouted out to the world that there was right and there was wrong and that we as a Country were the champions for right.

The homosexuals are not content to carry on their deeds in the darkness.  No, they must now go on to tell those of us who want to hold to the morality our nation was built on, how we should think. This survey represents yet again the pervasive determination by those that have no morality to force those who have morality to relinquish all sense of reason.  It was conceived and brought forth straight out of the depths of hell to again undermine the concept of right and wrong.

This is an attack against the very founding principles represented by the Constitution of the United States. The United States has always attempted to stand for that which was ethically right but without morality the Constitution is destroyed and we fight only for self-preservation and no ethical values. These are betrayers of the Values of this Country, undermining the rightness that this Nation stands for.

This is my personal observation of the situation - but I am not alone. I have talked with my brothers and sisters and they are in total agreement with what I write here. They have experienced for two and half years the same thing: the appalling degradation and the backwash of vileness in the individuals in the Military - no matter the rank.

In conclusion, I pray this prayer to the Living God:

You, by Divine Providence, raised up this great nation to be a glory to Your great name. We are sworn to defend her against her enemies - both foreign and domestic. All of the Prince Soldiers totally oppose this determination to make wickedness and depravity appear to be good, normal or acceptable. We therefore present this evidence before a You – a Holy God - and ask, Lord, what will YOU do to set right this terrible crime committed against You. The perpetrators are associating their vileness with Your Holy name. We ask that JUSTICE be done so that Your name once again be honored the world over.
